I’m so, so sorry to hear this sad news my thoughts are with all of Shelly’s family and friends.
Shelly had quite an effect on me when I met her and heard her story, I had tears in my eyes as we chatted while she decided which of the two young whippets she would like as her own.
It was only a short meeting but I immediately felt that this was a lady I could happily get along with, we had a love for whippets and (surprisingly) horror novels.
I enjoyed reading her blog, she wrote so well, full of whit and fun even when the subject she was writing about could be quite grim. This last post had me shocked, sad and so sorry that it wasn’t good news
