With over 18 years experience as a trainer and facilitator, I currently work as a lay advisor and critical friend within health and social care research. I have experience of facilitating focus groups, writing articles, blogs and leaflets for the public, chairing, training, public speaking and co-ordinating events. I have worked with NICE, NIHR, HTA, i4i, Southampton RDS, Macmillan Cancer Voices, HRA, QORU, am an appointed member of the Public Health Advisory Committee on sunlight exposure and also sit on several research steering committees, some as a co-applicant.
